Black and White

Homework tools. Working on projects.
That's the challenge of college; the roller coaster of being on top of things and then feeling totally overwhelmed. This semester I've been riding that coaster more than last semester. I know that it'll work out though and somehow I'll get everything I need to done. Right now I feel like I'm on the "On top of things" part of that coaster, let's see how long it lasts. The accidental charcoal on my keyboard can attest that I've been doing homework.

I felt like shooting black and white today, it's been a while since I have. I missed taking pictures of just random things. Black and White, I'll have to play with that more.

Outside the wind has been playing quite fiercely the past few days, resulting in windblown hair, ghostly sounds in cracks of doors, and cars feeling as if they were kites on the highway.
After writing this I realize this is perfect weather for tea drinking...
Off I go to make a cup of tea!

  4. I've always loved blank and white photos but have been afraid to try taking them myself. I'm just starting to feel comfortable with taking color photographs. Still trying to find those rare photos that are pleasing to my eye, and to be able to capture it the way I see it so that others will see it the way I do.

These photos are wonderful...thank you for sharing them with us!

    1. Black and white is sometimes easier in color because it forces you to see thing in a more simple manner. You'll notice contrast, light, texture etc more when you take pictures in black and white. I'd almost suggest starting with that over color :)

I hope you find a way to capture photos in the way you said, I know that I'm always working on that!!
