Christmas Cookie Decorating!

I know, I know! It was just Thanksgiving a few days ago, but hey! Today is the first day of Advent and my family decided they were making Christmas cookies. My dad and little sister (who is 10), came home this morning with sprinkles, cutouts, and ingredients to make the cookies. I thought they were gonna be doing it together, just themselves, but they were having some trouble and called me into the kitchen to save the day (what can I say, I'm a hero! haha). I ended up helping them the rest of the way. 

The cookies above I decorated while everyone is out this evening for Mass (I went earlier today, cause I like it better when the sun is up!). I hadn't put up a post in a bit and thought it was about time! Do you make Christmas cookies?

The Amazing Cinnamon Roll Pancake

Ok I'm sorry, you're probably really hungry now!

I just made these suckers this morning for my family. I had found the recipe on pinterest.com (one of my favorite websites), and just had to try them out.
You would not BELIEVE the response I got from my younger siblings. They were saying things like "It's even better than a cinnamon roll" "It's so good" and my brother, who's 14 and eats like it's a race, actually took his time eating it slowly. Partly because he was really tired and partly because he was savoring the amazingness.

If you like cinnamon rolls, I'd definitely give this a try, they were really good. The recipe is right though, 1 pancake is plenty!

Bark...Tree Bark That Is

This is a combination of photographs I took this weekend, and photos from last winter. I think it's pretty obvious that the first 3 are the not-so-recent pictures (the snow totally gives it away).

I love photography so much, I'll go as far as to climb a tree, or get down and dirty lying face to the ground, to get the shot I want! It's so awesome. Still considering minoring in Photography if I can find the time and resources!

This blog started out as an attempt at a fashion-type blog, but now I'm really quite interested in using it for mainly my photography (some of which may end up being of my outfits, who knows! This is an awesome adventure!

I have a love for photography, and am even considering minoring in it in college. My major is Communication Design, so having that "eye" for usually pleasing things is what I really love. Winter Bird Watching

This photo's I took last winter, right after I had gotten my camera for my birthday. I had just finished walking some dogs (which is what I do for a living), and I saw a lot of chickadees by the bird feeder. Now I've always liked chickadees, I think they're so cute, handsome, and small.

I sat out in the cold, my butt freezing while planted in the snow, and captured photos of these little guys!
