I know, I know! It was just Thanksgiving a few days ago, but hey! Today is the first day of Advent and my family decided they were making Christmas cookies. My dad and little sister (who is 10), came home this morning with sprinkles, cutouts, and ingredients to make the cookies. I thought they were gonna be doing it together, just themselves, but they were having some trouble and called me into the kitchen to save the day (what can I say, I'm a hero! haha). I ended up helping them the rest of the way.
The cookies above I decorated while everyone is out this evening for Mass (I went earlier today, cause I like it better when the sun is up!). I hadn't put up a post in a bit and thought it was about time! Do you make Christmas cookies?

How pretty! I do make Christmas cookies, but not those. I make the Russian Tea Cakes, Macaroons, peanut butter kisses and Choc Chip with red, white and green chips. Then anything else that catches my eye.
ReplyDeleteJo - Mmmmm! Those sound delicious! Russian Tea cakes are especially intriguing to me as I've never had, or even heard of them! :D Might have to try making them sometime.
